UGSRC Presidential aspirant Emmanuel Owusu Amponsah survives horrific car accident

In a shocking turn of events, University of Ghana’s Student Representative Council (SRC) President aspirant, Emmanuel Owusu Amponsah, and some members of his team, narrowly escaped tragedy after being involved in a ghastly car accident on the night of April 11th, 2024 at Ritz Junction on their way to campus.

The accident, which occurred under undisclosed circumstances, has left the university community reeling with shock and concern for the well-being of the aspiring leader and his companions. However, amidst the chaos and uncertainty, hope emerged as it was confirmed that Emmanuel Owusu Amponsah and his team members survived the ordeal after receiving treatment at the University of Ghana Hospital. They were discharged yesterday on the 16th of April, 2024.

Emmanuel survived the ghastly accident, which left him with some serious injuries.

In a statement released shortly after the accident, the aspirant expressed profound gratitude to the university community for their overwhelming support and well-wishes during this trying time. He conveyed heartfelt appreciation to all who had reached out, visited the hospital, and extended words of encouragement to him and his team.

“This incident has not shattered our spirits or deterred us from our mission. If anything, it has ignited a fire within us to pursue our goals with even greater passion and determination.”

“Despite the darkness of that night, one thing remains abundantly clear: our shared effort to make a better deal for a better SRC, remains steadfast and unbroken.”

Despite the traumatic experience, Emmanuel Amponsah reassured well-wishers that his resolve to serve and uplift the student body remains resolute. He pledged to continue his campaign efforts with renewed vigor, fueled by the overwhelming support of the university community.
