The University of Ghana Students Representative Council elections are expected to take place on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
This was indicated in a communique from the UGSRC Electoral Commission on Tuesday October 16, 2022.
The Communique, which was signed by the Chairman of the Commission, Daniel Kwasi Dzrekey stated the decision was arrived at after deliberations with the relevant stakeholders.
The elections are expected to commence at 8:00am and end at 5:00pm.
“After broader engagement with stakeholders, the SRC Electoral Commission is pleased to bring to the attention of the entire University of Ghana undergraduate student body that the 2022 SRC election is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022. All stakeholders should take note of this important information” the communique said.
The Electoral Commission further announced that the candidates in the elections would meet the University of Ghana Computing Systems, Arbitration Committee and other stakeholders ahead of the elections.
