The University of Ghana has released its undergraduate academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic year. The academic year is set to begin with the first semester in August 2023.
The release by the university includes important dates for the upcoming academic year, such as the start and end dates of each semester, examination periods, and holidays.
The first semester, which runs from August 7, 2023, to February 4 2024 will consist of 12 weeks of academic work, followed by three weeks of the examination period.
The second semester will begin in May 2024 and will run until August 2024. This semester will also consist of 14 weeks of academic work, followed by three weeks of the examination period.
Level 100s are however expected to report in January 2024.
