Christian Atsu found alive according to Turkish media

Ghanaian player Christian Atsu has been found alive after going missing for hours following an earth quake that occured in turkey on monday morning.  Reports emerged yesterday that Atsu had been found but it turned out to be spurious information after the the club’s vice president revealed in a twitter post “that search is  ongoing to rescue the player”.

Earlier  this morning, reports emanating from the Turkish media confirms that the Hatayaspor forward has been rescued. in an interview,  Hatayaspor manager Mustafa Ozat also ratified that Atsu is in hospital receiving treatment and he is expected to make a full recovery.

on the other side, Sporting director of the club Taner Savur who was also trapped under the debris for twenty four hours since monday morning is yet to be found following intense and robust search by the Turkish authorities.

Christian Atsu  has been one of the star performers for his side after scoring  a freekick goal to grab three points for his side in a league game before the tragic event.

A Turkish journalist revealed the rescue of the 31-year old in a tweet below;
