UG: Mgt. releases final timetable for end of Semester examinations

The University of Ghana Academic Affairs Directorate has released the final timetable for the first semester examinations for level 100 to 400 students.
The examinations are expected to start on Tuesday, April 4,2023, and end Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

The timetable was accompanied by a statement from the directorate signed by Frederick Yuorkuu, the Head of, the Teaching and Examinations Unit.

It said this semester exams will be both onsite, sit in mode, and onsite online mode.

“The Final Examination Timetable has been posted on the University Notice Board as well as Notice Boards in the Halls, Hostels and Departments.
The following two modes of onsite examinations are attached:
1. Onsite Sit-in mode of Examinations Using Answer Booklets
2. Onsite Online mode of Examinations using SAKAI
Offsite Examinations are excluded. Candidates are to contact their Examiners/ Departments directly for examination schedules and other details in this regard.”


The academic affairs directorate also urged candidates to take note if changes in the final timetable and seek help to resolve clarifications

“Candidates and Examiners are urged to take note of some changes that have been made to the Provisional Examinations Timetable.
Candidates are to check the daily online timetables and read notices on notice boards as well as their UG emails for updates.
Resolutions of clashes in the final timetable that may be reported will reflect in the daily timetables.”


The statement called on students to check and verify their courses before writing the exams.

“Candidates are also reminded to double-check for courses registered on the MIS WEB as well as read the REGULATIONS GOVERNING UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS in readiness for the
examinations.”

Students are urged to check their student mail to find the full details of the final examination timetable.
