Madam Akua Donkor, the flagbearer of the Ghana Freedom Party, has opened up about her distressing encounter with Deloris Frimpong Manso, famously known as ‘Delay,’ during an interview nearly nine years ago.

In a candid reflection on Agyenkwa fm, Akua Donkor recounted the humiliation she faced on The Delay Show, which ultimately led her to pronounce curses on the well-known host.

The tension began to rise when Delay presented an image of Akua Donkor allegedly sleeping during an August event—a claim that the politician vehemently denied. In a mix of humor and provocation, Delay questioned, “Akua Donkor, should I pick the cane for you to use on me? So nobody gets the chance to speak when you speak? So you are a shady b!tch, huh?”

Akua Donkor firmly responded with “No,” but Delay persisted with provocative questions that ignited her emotions. The exchange escalated further when Delay remarked, “If someone is watching us at home, they will ask, ‘What mad woman have you brought on your show today, Delay?’”

With anger rising, Akua Donkor retorted, “I am not mad by the grace of God.”

In a follow-up interview on Agyenkwa FM, Akua Donkor revealed the extent of her frustration, sharing that she cursed Delay after the humiliating encounter.

“I cursed her after the show, saying that if she hasn’t given birth before, she will never give birth. Additionally, she will never find a better man to marry in this life until she dies. You left your mother to come and call me a mad woman? Yes! I told her that! If I drove all the way from Kumasi to be humiliated like this, and you have already called me a witch and now a mad woman, then I am leaving. But I told her that she would not find a better man to marry, let alone have kids in this life! And then I stood up and left…” Akua Donkor disclosed.
