Mohammed Salah ascends into the top 10 Premier League all-time scoring chart

The Egyptian King, Mohammed Salah, has once again rewritten the record books, becoming the 10th player to score the most goals in Premier League history.
 
The pharaoh surpassed former England and Manchester United attacker Michael Owen to get into 10th position on the all-time English Premier League top 10 scorers list. Owen scored 150 goals, and Salah has now scored 151 goals,beating Owen by a goal.
 
This historic milestone moment transpired in the game between Liverpool and Arsenal, which was played on Saturday, December 23, at Anfield just before the Christmas break. Arsenal struck first in the opening minutes of the game with an excellent header from Gabriel Magalhães.

However, Mohamed Salah equalized for the Reds in the 29th minute with an exquisite strike from the right hand side of the box,latching unto a tremendous pass from Trent Alexander-Arnold before dispatching the ball expertly over David Raya to etch his name into the annals of the English premier league.There were no more goals after that as the game ended in a 1-1 stalemate at full time.

Former England and Newcastle’s striker Alan Shearer leads the list of the all-time premier league top 10 scorers with 260 goals,whereas former Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich attacker Harry Kane is right on his heels with 213 goals.Manchester United’s legend,Wayne Rooney is behind his English compatriots in 3rd position with 208 goals,following closely is Manchester United legend,Andrew Cole in 4th position, bagging 187 goals.

Manchester City’s legend,Sergio Kun Agüero is placed 5th with 184 goals, whiles Chelsea’s icon, Frank Lampard is placed 6th,scoring 177 goals.Arsenal and France’s Luminary, Thierry Henry is in 7th position with 175 goals.Also,ex Liverpool star, Robbie Fowler is placed 8th bagging 163 goals.Former Tottenham and English player,Jermain Defoe is in 9th position,scoring 162 goals with Mohamed Salah completing the list with 151 goals.
 
‘The Egyptian Messi’ will be hoping to add more goals to his tally before he departs for the Africa Cup of Nations.
