Stephen Curry was back in style, scoring an impressive 35 points, including seven remarkable 3-pointers as Golden State Warriors beat San Antonio Spurs by 118-112 scoreline to record a win on Saturday at the Chase Center Arena and secure a 2nd win in their last 8 matches in the process.

Golden State Warriors, who have gone through some rough patches in the ongoing season, wanted a twist in fortunes to end their bad run of form in their last 8 outings, of which, the absence of their main talisman, Stephen Curry had been a concern. Curry had been out of action through injury whiles inspirational Draymond Green has been suspended.

The Warriors looked to get their season on track after enduring a tough phase. Warriors aimed to turn a corner on their poor form and had the opportunity to do so and gain some confidence against the most underperforming side in the Western conference league, San Antonio.

San Antonio, who despite enriching their squad with one of the most skillful players in the person of Victor Wembanyama, found themselves winless in their last 12 league matches prior to the game and sat rock bottom in the Western Conference league standings.

From the opening tip-off, the game lived up to the billing, showcasing an epic showdown with lots of intensity in from start to finish.

Both teams came out strong, showing off their incredible shooting prowess and tight defensive strategies as the crowd was electrified, cheering every dunk and three-pointer.

Although the first quarter of the game ended in a narrow 32-35 lead in favor of San Antonio Spurs, the Warriors, known for their resilience, mounted a comeback with exceptional plays in the subsequent quarters.

The match remained fiercely contested and the score was neck and neck throughout the game, with both teams refusing to back down.

The match continued in a keenly contested fashion and the crowd at the Chase Center witnessed a thrilling game filled with suspense and excitement.

At the end of the second quarter, San Antonio Spurs still held a slight edge with scoreline of 59-55.

In the final and crucial moments of the game, Warriors managed to pull ahead with Stephen Curry sank a clutch three-pointer that sent the crowd into tumult.

San Antonio Spurs were not going down without a fight as they made a relentless effort to narrow the gap, but the Warrior’s defense held strong; thanks to the pivotal block from Python Gary on Vicotor Wembanyamna, the Warriors were able to record their second victory in their last 8 matches.

Golden State Warriors have some serious catching up to do if they want to cement their spot for top place in the playoff position.

With their talisman Stephen Curry back from injury, Warriors will look to gather some momentum and revive their winning streak, which has been hard to come by in their recent games.
