University of Ghana’s Student Representative Council (SRC) has successfully concluded its runoff elections, ushering in a new team of executives for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Outgoing SRC President, Frank Tsikata, formally congratulated the incoming leaders in a statement issued on September 27, 2024. Tsikata expressed confidence in their leadership abilities and commended their dedication and energy, predicting their efforts would positively impact the student body.
“We are confident that your leadership, energy, and commitment will greatly benefit the student body. As the transition process begins on Monday, we wish you success in your endeavors,” Tsikata noted
Maradona Adjei Yeboah has been elected as the new SRC President, with Jeffrey Adu-Yeboah as Vice President. Lorinda Owie Teyeuhgmeh will assume the role of General Secretary, and Roland Oppong will serve as Treasurer.
The official handover process is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 30, 2024, and will span seven days to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.
The outgoing administration extended their best wishes to the incoming executives, encouraging them to continue serving the University of Ghana with dedication and distinction.
