The National Service Authority (NSA) has released PIN codes for 132,393 prospective national service personnel from 100 accredited tertiary institutions for the 2025/2026 service year.
In a statement dated June 17, Acting Director General of the NSA, Felix Gyamfi, announced the release, highlighting significant improvements in data integrity and validation protocols.
Out of 135,990 submissions from 122 tertiary institutions, 3,597 submissions from 22 unaccredited institutions were excluded. These institutions, not recognised by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), must regularise their accreditation within 30 days or risk having their graduates excluded from the national service mobilisation.
The NSA also disclosed that 908 additional PIN codes are pending final verification. These include applications from private candidates such as Ghanaian students who studied abroad and individuals who previously deferred or defaulted.
“In addition to the 125 PIN codes issued to graduates from accredited institutions, a further 908 PIN codes for private applicants are currently awaiting final verification from the related institutions. This includes Ghanaian students who studied abroad and individuals who previously deferred or defaulted and are now ready to undertake their mandatory national service,” Mr. Gyamfi added.
The Authority has urged applicants in this category to contact its support lines if their PIN codes are still inaccessible by June 24, 2025.
