Ghana Gas Challenge: A Replica of NSMQ at Tertiary level

The Ghana Gas Challenge finals took place at UPSA Auditorium-Accra: I can boldly say with every iota of conviction that Ghana has brilliant and shrewd University students and the future of science and technology looks very promising…

Indeed, the 73% of the population that constitutes the nation is pregnant with the child of HOPE!

All contestants representing their individual Universities depicted a high level of scientific – tenacity, savvy-engineering pragmatism and mathematical willpower.

The final contest featured University of Ghana, University of Energy and Natural Resources , University of Mines at Technology.

These are Universities that have depicted spectacular performances from October where the zonal stage commenced. There were 3 zonal contests which were held at the University of Ghana, University of health and allied Sciences , Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and the University of Cape Coast.

The contestants were keenly examined on an industrial handbook provided by Ghana Gas. The questions ranged from petroleum engineering, gas processing plants, petroleum funding , national plans on Petroleum and more on engineering field.
