The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a temporary reduction in power supply to its Mobile Bulk Supply Point in the Tema region, leading to widespread power outages affecting several communities and businesses in the region.
In a press statement dated Tuesday, 9th April 2024, ECG listed some areas that will be affected by the power outage in the Tema region.
ECG has acknowledged the disruptions and has assured the affected customers that they are working to restore power as soon as possible, emphasizing that the resumption of supply from Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCO) will enable the reinstatement of electricity in the affected areas.
