Veteran Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo has reportedly passed away at the age of 42.
Her death was confirmed by her husband, Eugene Kwadwo Boadi Baah, popularly known as Choirmaster and a former member of the renowned music group Praye, in an emotional Instagram tribute shared on Sunday, May 24 2026.
In the heartfelt post, Choirmaster described her passing as a devastating loss that had left him completely broken.
“My heart is shattered beyond words over the death of my beloved wife, Beverly Afaglo,” he wrote.
Adding to the tragedy, he reflected on the few days left until the late actress’s birthday.
“It would have been just four more days to your birthday, but I guess the Lord wanted to celebrate with you, so He called you home.”
Since news of her passing broke, tributes have continued to pour in from fans, colleagues, and personalities within the entertainment industry, with many expressing their condolences to the bereaved family.
Although the cause of death remains unknown, her passing marks a significant loss to Ghana’s entertainment industry. Beverly Afaglo will be remembered for her contribution to the creative arts and the impact she made on audiences throughout her career.
