Anticipation reached a fever pitch on the University of Ghana campus last week as the highly anticipated contestants for this year’s Miss University of Ghana pageant were officially unveiled after successfully passing the auditions stage.
Out of 67 applicants 33 contestants were selected. The contestants include:

Contestant 13: Korantemaa
Contestant 14: Mikaela
Contestant 15: Rocklyn
Contestant 16: Angel
Contestant 17: Munra
Contestant 19: Debbie
Contestant 20: Mary
Contestant 21: Joana
Contestant 22: Fafa
Contestant 23: Oforiwaa
Contestant 24: Grace
Contestant 25: Princess
Contestant 26: Juanita
Contestant 27: Juliana

A total of 33 intelligent and elegant young women are set to contest to win an all- expense paid trip to Dubai, a car and a cash prize.
Selected contestants exuded confidence and grace, hinting at the fierce but friendly competition that lay ahead.
The unveiling marked the official commencement of the pageant’s activities, setting the stage for weeks of rigorous training and talent showcases.
The SRC Women’s Commissioner Antoinette Opoku, emphasized that this year’s pageant aims to highlight not just beauty, but also the intellect, leadership potential and commitment to community service that are integral to the University of Ghana brand.
