The highly anticipated Sixth Edition of the 3Music Awards came to a grand close on the night of September 28, 2024, at the Palm Convention Center, La Palm Royal Beach. Originally slated for November, this year’s event surprised fans by taking place a month earlier, marking a triumphant return after a year-long break.

The 2024 edition was a spectacular comeback, filled with remarkable performances, unforgettable moments, and a seamless execution by the organizers. Despite the last-minute change in schedule, the night delivered on its promise of excellence, and the energy in the venue was electric.

The night saw powerful performances from some of Ghana’s finest talents, leaving audiences captivated. Gospel sensation Nacee, alongside Piesie Esther, brought spiritual fervor to the stage. Lyrical Joe showcased his lyrical prowess, while Adina graced the audience with her enchanting vocals. Each performance was met with thunderous applause, adding to the evening’s excitement.

One of the major highlights of the night was the collective call to action made by both award winners and presenters, urging the audience and viewers at home to support the ongoing #FreeGalamsey campaign. This plea resonated throughout the event, as artists and industry figures united in their efforts to combat the devastating impact of illegal mining in Ghana. The message was clear: beyond the glitz and glamour, there’s an urgent need for collective action to address the environmental and social harm caused by galamsey. The unified stand against this menace added a powerful and meaningful tone to the night’s festivities.
