The University of Ghana Accra City Campus held its election in October 2022, however, the election was characterized by discrepancies with students complaining of failing to receive their links among others.

A number of students petitioned the Local SRC’s Judicial Board to order a rerun of the election.

However, after failing to show up and providing substantive evidence the court ruled that the electoral commissioners declare the elections held on October 24 as valid.

The grounds of appeal are hereby granted as meritorious. The Electoral Commission is authorized to declare the provisional results of the elections held on 24th October 2022 as valid within the next 48 hours.
The Judgement and Orders of the Judicial Board dated 28th November 2022 are hereby affirmed.
