The Electoral Commissioner of the University of Ghana Student’s Representative Council has opened nominations for some executive positions in the body council.
This was announced in a statement released by the UGSRC-EC on 3rd July, 2023.
The EC opened nominations for the Offices of the President, Vice President and General Secretary.
In the statement, there was an emphasis on the filing of the nomination being free of charge.
The nominations have been opened from Monday July 3rd 2023 and are expected to be closed on 12th July, 2023.
The EC also advised prospective aspirants for the above-mentioned positions to ensure that they have satisfied every requirement in the UGSRCs constitution.
The statement also contains a QR code that has the link for the filing of nominations.
The nominations files are to be subsequently presented to the SRC Electoral Commissioners at the SRC Union Building before the closing date.
The SRC elections are expected to be held online onsite with support from the University of Ghana Computing System (UGCS).
