On the eve of the West African Football Union (WAFU) U-17 championship opener, Black Starlets head coach Laryea Kingston has named his 20-man squad list for the tournament.

After going through rigorous training regimes, training camps and featuring in a high-profile tournament, Laryea Kingston has finally decided to call-up 20 promising stars ahead of Ghana’s first game against Ivory Coast tomorrow.

The West African Football Union zone B tournament is scheduled to take place at the University of Ghana Stadium from May 15-28, 2024, with as many as 7 countries vying for the ultimate prize and a place at the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

Laryea Kingston, who revealed the intention of the team is to secure a place at the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations and ultimately qualify for the U-17 World championship, has named a strong, formidabble, and highly competitive squad list, spearheaded by Accra Great Olympics Benjamin Tsivanyo.
