The Electoral Commission and its team have been absent from the strongroom at the University of Ghana Computing Services since the polls began this morning.
Despite an interlocutory injunction on the elections, the voting is proceeding.
As of 10:52am, nearly minutes into the polls, none of the Electoral Commissioners have arrived to oversee the election process
Polling agents representing various presidential candidates, including Emmanuel Mensah, Justice Mbawin Abugri, Noah Nii Afotey Odai, Abigail Ohenewaa Addai, Emmanuel Owusu Amponsah, and Lawrence Edinam Egleh, have all noted the absence of the Electoral Commission. Additionally, Jonathan Kankam, a polling agent for the SRC Treasurer position, has also highlighted this issue.
