The Public Relations Officer of the University of Ghana Students Representative Council Electoral Commission, Bright Siaw has disclosed that the SRC elections which was expected to come off again on Friday October, 28 2022 will not happen as planned.
Bright Siaw, who spoke on Campus Exclusive this morning, stated that this decision was taken in order to make sure that all electorates receive their voting links at least 48 hours before the polls are opened.
He added the all the candidates have been made aware of this development and are fully cooperating.
“Most students didn’t receive the voting links and we have to prevent that. We want UGCS to send voting links to students at least 48 hours before the elections. The EC has made the candidates aware that the elections will not come off tomorrow“. He said
