In a significant gesture of support for legal education, Kimathi and Partners, one of Ghana’s leading law firms with a global presence, has donated $100,000 worth of legal books to the University of Ghana School of Law Library.
The ceremony took place on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the School of Law Library.
Representing the firm, Ms. Akua Pinamang Addae, underscored the firm’s dedication to nurturing the next generation of legal minds.

After receiving the books, Acting Librarian of the University of Ghana School of Law, expressed profound gratitude for the contribution.
He pledged to ensure the books would be properly maintained and readily accessible to students, adding that measures would be taken to prevent misfiling or misplacement.

He assured attendees that the library staff would take steps to prevent misfiling or misplacement of the books, ensuring their maximum utility.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Angela, a member of the Library Committee, who echoed the school’s appreciation for the firm’s unwavering commitment to improving legal education. The program concluded with a closing prayer by Selinam Tsri, bringing the event to a graceful end
Under the leadership of Mr. Kimathi, the firm has consistently supported the University of Ghana School of Law, cementing its role as a vital partner in academic excellence.
