The University of Ghana (UG) has won its first gold medal at the 28th edition of the Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) games, currently underway at the University of Cape Coast.
The historic win came courtesy of Aleona Naa Ankrah and Lawrencia Aghoghorbia, who triumphed in the Tennis Women’s Double Final. The dynamic duo defeated Yayra Komashie and Trach Ampah from KNUST with a convincing 2-0 score.
The thrilling match took place at the Club House on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 13:30 GMT.
