The Student Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Ghana has successfully disbursed the SRC ANIDASUO LOAN to 1,056 students as part of a collaborative effort with the Student Loan Trust Fund. This initiative aims to support students facing financial challenges.
In a recently posted press statement, UGSRC Vice President, Jeffery Adu-Yeboah explained that these loans have been established to alleviate the financial burdens faced by students who are struggling to afford their expenses.
“The SRANIDASUO LOAN is a significant step towards ensuring that no student is left behind due to financial constraints. We understand the difficulties many students face, and this loan is designed to help bridge that gap.”
Eligible students who applied through the SRC and confirmed their registration on the STS portal are among those who received the funds. For those still interested in applying, the SRC has outlined a straightforward application process:
1. Sign up on the SLTF website at [sltf.gov.gh](http://www.sltf.gov.gh/)
2. Fill out the necessary online forms and provide required documents.
3. Complete biometric verification to authenticate the registration.
4. Confirm the application by filling out the STUDENT LOAN TRUST FUND CONSENT FORM at STS.
5. Print the SLTF application form and submit it to the Office of the Vice President, SRC.
Jeffery further emphasized the importance of the loan scheme: “The SRC prioritizes the welfare of our students. We are committed to assisting in your financial needs on campus. We encourage all eligible students to take advantage of this opportunity.”
The SRC ANIDASUO LOAN initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the university’s leadership to support students and facilitate their academic journeys despite financial challenges.
