Radio Univers’ Disk Jockey, DJ Kombolo has been nominated as the best DJ for Reggae /Dancehall Category at the 10th DJ Awards.
He faces fierce competition from DJ Nature Won of Dofopa FM, King Lagazee from Asaase Radio, African Child of Vim FM ,Natty Faya of Radio One, DJ Stone of Pluzz FM, Royal DJ Prince from Sungmaale FM and Black Kobby from 3FM.
DJ Kombolo born , Kojo Kombolo is the official DJ and host of Reggae and Rhymes on Radio Univers.
He is highly confident that he will win the category in which he has been nominated.
Speaking on the Campus Exclusive show, DJ Kombolo said he is optimistic that he will grab the award;
“ I don’t I have a competitor , I was born to win so I will definitely win this”.
He urged his fans to go all out and vote for him;
“The previous award I received, people didn’t really vote because automatically they assumed I was going to win, this time I am urging the fans to go there and vote when the voting code is out”
Recently he won the Reggae/Dancehall DJ of the Year Award at the 2022 Premier DJ Awards.
DJ Kombolo has contributed immensely in positioning the station to grab the attention of Reggae and Dancehall music lovers. His music selection skills are second to none and have the ability to wow patrons on the radio as well as at any social gathering he is billed to perform.
