The President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to the youth of Ghana, emphasizing their central role in the nation’s democratic journey.
Delivering his inaugural address after being sworn in as the 6th president of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has assured the youth that his government will translate their hopes into action and create opportunities for educational, entrepreneurship, employment and empowerment.
“I see a clarion call from the youth of Ghana. A generation that is driven with potential and dreams that are awaiting to be realised. This moment is a powerful affirmation that your voices matter, that your aspirations are valid, and that your future must be our priority. I’m committed to translating your hopes into action and creating opportunities for educational, entrepreneurship, employment, and empowerment.”
The president, John Dramani Mahama, also has promised an inclusive society where no one will be absent from the table of success.
“We will strive to create an inclusive and equitable society where everyone has a sit at the table. Our vision hinges on the introduction and implementation of a ’24 hour’ economy. We envisage an innovative and vibrant ’24 hour’ Ghanaian economy, which will also be anchored in agriculture and agri-business. This innovative approach will unlock potentials that have long remained dormant, even as we harness the energy and creativity of our people”
