The National Service Scheme (NSS) has announced the release of PIN codes for a total of 133,476 final-year students who will be participating in the National Service program for the 2024/2025 service year.

This includes final-year Ghanaian students from all accredited tertiary institutions across the country, as well as students who have completed their studies abroad, individuals who previously defaulted on the national service requirement, and private applicants who have registered to enroll for the mandatory national service.

According to a statement from the NSS secretariat on Wednesday, June 19, all eligible prospective service persons are advised to visit the scheme’s website at www.nss.gov.gh to access their PIN codes using their respective school index numbers and dates of birth.

The statement further noted that prospective service persons must pay a registration fee of GH¢40 at any branch of the ADB Bank, or they may opt to use the MTM mobile money service to make a payment of GH¢41 to activate the enrollment process.

The scheme urged all prospective national service personnel to complete the enrollment process carefully to prevent any errors that could negatively impact the deployment process. This will enable the Scheme to efficiently process them for enrollment in the 2024/2025 national service program.

It should be noted that the registration process begins today, Wednesday, June 19, 2024, and will close on Friday, June 21, 2024.
