Legendary Ghanaian Sound Engineer, Hammer Of The Last 2 has revealed that his music school, The Hammer School of Music Master Class will begin operations soon.

The music school will be teaching business secrets ranging from commanding huge brass ensembles to accomplishing terrifying big drum patterns with sub-lows and 808s to creating proper film actavas with pads and strings for depressing symphonies, among other things.

In  a Facebook post sighted by UniversEntertainment, the illustrious sound engineer said  he will be hiring renowned producers as guest lecturers to impart some of their trade secrets that have helped Ghana’s musical development

“I’ll soon be offloading tricks of the trade ranging from authoritative epic brass ensembles through achieving intimidating big drum patterns with sub-lows and 808s, to creating proper film actaves with pads and strings for melancholic symphonies… etc. I’ll also occasionally invite colleagues that I revere like @ubeatzworld @mastergarzy, @beatmenace, @kwame__yeboah @killbeatzgh amongst others as guest lecturers to share in some of their trade secrets that have contributed to our growth as a country musically,” the post said.

He also added that the school will run approved courses and offer internship placements to students.

“This I hope will evolve into an extended proper course with certification plus internship placements given to deserving participants to work with prominent sound engineers as well to further skills,” he added.

Hammer of the Last 2  thanked The TAF College for coming on board to help him establish the school

“Thanks to the TAF COLLEGE for facilitating the HAMMER school of music master class with three classrooms with fully equipped workstations for producers. Plus a state of the art full recording studio with live band equipments etc.”
