Matchweek 6 of the Ghana Premier League delivered drama, goals, and standout performances across various venues as teams continued to find their rhythm in the 2025/26 campaign.

Medeama SC and Samartex 1996 played out an entertaining 1–1 draw at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.

Dramani Awuah’s stunning strike from the centre circle gave Samartex the lead, but the hosts equalised to secure a point.

Despite dominating with 29 shots and 13 on target, Medeama couldn’t find a winner. The result keeps Medeama temporarily top, while Samartex extended their unbeaten run to six matches.

At the Tuba Astro Turf, Dreams FC bounced back from a tough start to the season with a much-needed 2–0 win over Nations FC.

Ernest Appiah scored early before Suraj Seidu sealed the result in the second half.

The victory was Dreams’ first of the campaign, while Nations extended their winless run to five games.

Hearts of Oak returned to winning ways with an assured 2–0 triumph over Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park.

Hamza Issah opened the scoring in the 62nd minute before Mawuli Wayo added a late goal to secure all three points.

The Phobians’ unbeaten record against Chelsea continues in the Ghana Premier League, and they now sit just a point behind the league leaders.

Bechem United finally registered their first win of the season with a 2–0 victory over Vision FC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

After a goalless first half, Yaw Acheampong and Alhassan Razak struck in quick succession to hand the Hunters a vital win that lifted spirits in Bechem.

Aduana FC ended their seven-game away drought with a 2–0 victory over Hohoe United.

Mezack Afriyie broke the deadlock midway through the second half before Emmanuel Marfo added a late goal to seal the win.

Despite going down to ten men, Aduana showed composure and defensive solidity to end Hohoe’s two-game winning streak.

Swedru All Blacks ended their three-game losing run with a 2–0 home win over Basake Holy Stars.

Early goals from Benjamin Adjei and Hafiz Alhassan set the tone before the visitors were reduced to ten men.

All Blacks dominated possession and looked in control throughout, securing a much-needed morale boost.

Bibiani GoldStars were in top form as they handed Heart of Lions their first defeat of the season with a 3–1 win at the Dun’s Park.

Richard Amon Kotey, Sampson Eduku, and Samuel Atta Kumi all found the net for the Miners, while Kwadwo Obeng Junior scored Lions’ consolation.

The result was GoldStars’ third win of the season and a strong statement of intent.

Karela United and Eleven Wonders played out a goalless draw in Swedru. Despite both sides creating decent chances, neither could find the breakthrough.

The result extends Karela’s solid away form, while Wonders’ search for a win continues after four consecutive defeats.

The clash between Asante Kotoko and Young Apostles was postponed due to Kotoko’s CAF Confederation Cup commitments.
