The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League entered Matchday Four with thrilling encounters across the country, featuring upsets, late drama, and strong performances from title contenders.

The weekend began on Friday evening in Bechem, where Bechem United and Hearts of Oak played out a cagey 0–0 draw.

The Phobians showed flashes of dominance but failed to convert their chances, leaving both sides still seeking consistent form.

Reigning champions Bibiani Gold Stars maintained their solid start to their title defense with a narrow 1–0 victory over All Blacks. Michael Nkoah proved the difference, scoring the only goal of the game to hand the Miners a crucial away win.

In Kumasi, Asante Kotoko were held to a goalless stalemate by Heart of Lions. Despite dominating possession, the Porcupine Warriors lacked the finishing touch in front of their home fans.

The standout performance of the round came from Hohoe, where newcomers Hohoe United stunned Karela United with a resounding 4–1 triumph.

Safian Osman led the charge with a superb brace, while William Oduro and Sena Ati also got on the scoresheet. Bless Ege managed a consolation for the visitors, but it was a night to remember for the Hohoe faithfuls.

Berekum Chelsea also impressed with a  2–0 win over Basake Holy Stars, while Dreams FC were held 1–1 by Vision FC in Dawu.

At Techiman, Young Apostles got a 1–0 victory over Eleven Wonders, courtesy of Richmond Opoku’s decisive strike.

The clash between FC Samartex and Aduana FC was abandoned due to heavy rainfall that rendered the pitch unplayable.

The game was rescheduled to Monday morning, with FC Samartex defeating  Aduana Stars 1–0 in Samreboi.
The Timber Boys were patient and compact throughout, sealing the win with a first-half goal that delighted the home fans and moved them up the table.
