Deeper Life Christian Fellowship (DLCF) from the KNUST branch has emerged as the winner of the 2024 National Bible Quiz, after an intense and exhilarating contest held at the R.S. Amegashie Auditorium, University of Ghana.
Demonstrating exceptional biblical mastery and scriptural knowledge, the team, led by Yaw Frempong Smart and Abigail Obeng, secured the top position with a remarkable score of 40 points.
Coming in second place, Assemblies of God Christian Ministry from KNUST gave DLCF a close run for the title, falling short by just two points.
The team, composed of Bensir Isaac Oduro and Benjamin Jackson Watermberg, showcased impressive resilience and in-depth scriptural understanding, amassing 38 points.
New Breed KNUST, represented by Lemuel Sowatey and Obrempong Kwame Fosu, also delivered a strong performance.
Although they didn’t claim the top prize, their impressive display of biblical knowledge earned them a respectable third place with 27 points, 13 points behind the winning team.
DLCF KNUST took home the grand prize of 10,000 Ghana cedis, a tenor saxophone from a sponsor and the bragging rights as the 2024 National Bible Quiz champions, and the coveted trophy.
The quiz, organized by National Bible Quiz Ghana in partnership with the Bible Society of Ghana, aims to promote Bible reading and encouraging deeper engagement with the scriptures among the youth
