Black Queens’ Janet Egyiri donates to former club, Hasaacas Ladies

Ghanaian footballer, Janet Egyiri has extended a helping hand to her former club, Hasaacas Ladies through donations.

On Thursday, November 2, 2023, Hasaacas ladies confirmed that the club had received a wholesome donation from the former skipper of the club.

The donation which included items such as foodstuff, toiletries among others was presented by Janet Egyiri to the players and management of the team at the team’s training session at Bompeh Senior Technical School.

Hasaacas Ladies are currently preparing ahead of their Malta Guinness Women Premier League week 2 fixture against Essiam Socrates Ladies. The team picked up a crucial 1-0 victory against Sea Lions in Matchday One of the 2023-24 Women’s Premier League Fixture.

The current Black Queens skipper played for Hasaacas Ladies and was instrumental in making them reach the finals of the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League in the 2020/21 Season. Janet later signed a one year deal with Israeli Club Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem FC.

In 2018, she was adjudged the best player of the tournament at the WAFU Women’s Cup.

Janet Egyiri is currently plying her trade as a defender for Israeli Women’s Premier League club, Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem FC, and stands as captain for the Black Queens team.
