Chief Executive Officer and founder of Kings Innovations, Nana Owusu-Achau has urged the youth to become an instrument for wealth creation.

He was speaking at a seminar in commemoration of the UG@75 celebrations at the Great Hall on 21st June, 2023. The event was dubbed, “Harnessing Employment and Entrepreneurship Prospects for University Graduates: Building Resilience and Embracing Technology”.

He stated that, as a result of the the current domestic debt restructuring in the country, businessmen are seeking for new avenues to invest their money .

He advised young people to take the opportunity to conscientiously avail themselves for wealth creation.

“There are a lot of influential people in this country who are looking for things to use their money, especially now when there is Domestic Debt Restructuring. Some people are losing confidence in some of the financial instruments. Become a conduit through which people are willing to give money so that their money will not go waste. This is a way to grow wealth.”

Nana Owusu-Achau added that dignity and honesty must be virtues that graduates should have, especially in the business sector. He believed that this would encourage opportunities which would create a pathway to success in the generation of wealth.

“You can raise [wealth] from those who trust you , if you’re a [person] of integrity and honesty, with that trust factor, being a diligent person, you will have many opportunities. A man’s gift opens doors for him ,and brings him before great men.”

He further spoke on the need to promote Ghanaian products in order to combat poverty and advance the country’s economic growth by promoting employment opportunities.

“The decision to buy local products is not a decision to support a fellow Ghanaian but a decision to support self. By buying local [products], friends or relatives will not call you and ask you for money because that person is gainfully employed in the rural community to aid in the production of local goods which would be in demand.”

Nana Owusu-Achau is the CEO and founder of Kings Innovations, the mother company to Agro kings-producers of Nana’s Rice, Kings Realty, Rakata Labs and Fashion Nest.

He has extensive combined expertise in a variety of fields, including sports, agriculture, technology, and real estate, totaling more than 15 years.

Nana has led and is still leading Kings Innovations to use pertinent innovations to improve stakeholders’ lives on a local and global scale. He holds a number of board positions outside of Kings Innovations in the fields of technology, agriculture, and education.
