The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei- Tutu II has awarded a full educational scholarship to one of his young subjects who designed a human robot.
The innovator , Kwame Adjei is a technical school graduate who could not further his education after secondary school due to financial challenges.
The human robot can perform a variety of tasks including; talking, walking, teaching and recording the temperature of people amongst others.
Kwame Adjei indicated that with considerable financial support he can create more innovations to help his community and country.
The robot walked with its inventor to visit the Asantehene at the Manhyia Palace , where it performed a series of tasks involving introducing itself to the revered King.
The young and brilliant student, Kwame Adjei has been awarded a full scholarship to further his education at the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development in Kumasi.
After the ceremony, the Asantehene prayed for him and wished him well in all his future endeavours.
The family was elated to get such a wonderful support from the Asantehene and were effusive in the praise to Otumfuo and his unwavering support in pushing excellence to the highest levels in his reign as King of Asanteman.
