The University of Ghana Students’ Representative Council (UGSRC) Electoral Commission Vetting Committee has officially reopened nominations for students interested in serving as members of the 2025 UGSRC Electoral Commission.
The move comes despite the successful vetting and approval of a new set of commissioners from the initial application process.
In a notice dated July 17, 2025, and signed by Vetting Committee Chairperson Micah Cudjoe, the General Assembly invites applications from students willing to play a critical role in ensuring free, fair and transparent SRC elections.
Applicants are required to submit their curriculum vitae via email by Friday, July 18, 2025. The notice stated that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for the next stage of the vetting process.
This reopening provides an opportunity for more students to contribute to campus democracy by joining the team responsible for safeguarding the integrity of the electoral process.
Attached is the official notice.
