The Senior National Soccer Team, Black Stars have faced a significant blow in their quest to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, following a 2-0 loss to Sudan in Libya.

A disallowed goal in the 47th minute, due to Inaki Williams being offside, proved costly for Ghana.

Sudan capitalized on this momentum, scoring two quick goals through Mahmoud and Abdel Rahman in the 61st and 64th minutes, respectively.

Ghana’s prospects of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco are looking bleak, having garnered only two points out of a possible 12.

The situation is further compounded by Sudan’s impressive performance, which is likely to continue in their upcoming fixtures against Angola and Niger, making it even more challenging for Ghana to catch up and secure a spot in the tournament
