Al-Nassr FC overcame intense final-day pressure to secure the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League title after a commanding 4-1 victory over Damac FC at a packed Alawwal Park.
Heading into the decisive round with a slim two-point lead over fierce rivals Al Hilal SFC, Al-Nassr knew only victory would guarantee the championship without relying on goal difference or other calculations.
The Riyadh giants rose to the occasion in emphatic fashion to officially reclaim the league title for the first time since 2019.
With Al-Hilal also recording a 1-0 victory over Al Fayha FC in their simultaneous fixture, the pressure remained intense throughout the evening.
Sadio Mané opened the scoring in the 33rd minute to calm early nerves before Kingsley Coman doubled the advantage shortly after halftime.
Damac briefly threatened to make the title race uncomfortable after converting a penalty to reduce the deficit to 2-1, raising tension inside the stadium.
However, Al-Nassr responded almost immediately in spectacular fashion.
In the 63rd minute, a stunning low free-kick from an almost impossible angle restored the club’s two-goal cushion, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
A late close-range finish then sealed the 4-1 victory and sparked emotional celebrations around the stadium as Al-Nassr officially clinched the Saudi Pro League crown.
The triumph marks a major milestone for Al-Nassr, ending a seven-year wait for league glory and capping off a memorable campaign for the yellow and blue half of Riyadh.
