The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has announced the commencement of the online re-exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register (PVR), starting from Tuesday, 15th October 2024 and running until Saturday, 19th October 2024.

This exercise aims to provide registered voters with an opportunity to check their details and report any discrepancies to the Commission for necessary corrections.

In a press release dated 14th October 2024, the EC reminded the public of the assurance made during a Special Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting held on October 1, 2024, regarding the re-exhibition of the revised provisional voter’s register.

This online exercise is being conducted free of charge, and voters are encouraged to verify their details using a shortcode provided or by visiting the Electoral Commission’s official website.

To access their voter information online, voters will need to enter their 10-digit Voter ID number.

The Commission clarified that while voters can check their details online, any corrections required must be reported to the respective District Office of the EC within the re-exhibition period. After Saturday, 19th October, voters will still be able to view their details online but will not be able to request changes.

Political parties have also been directed to use the provided template for submitting discrepancies identified during this re-exhibition period.
