Vincent Torgah emerges victorious at 2022 Cedrela open gulf championship

Vincent Torgah from the  centre of the world gulf club has successfully defended his title in the second of four series of ‘Road to Obotan” in the second of the 2022 Cedrela open championship at the safari eco resort gulf course in the Okere District in  the eastern region.

Speaking in an interview ,Vincent Torgah narrated how he came out triumphant.

I took advantage of the short game and now its not course you can hit the ball long. you need to be precise with the decision and is one of the toughest thing to do on this course so if you can not get yourself around it then am sorry you can’t score on this course.
so what I did best was taking the balls on the break.

He also said, his competitors gave him a tough competition and he feels proud about his performance.

Good performance but the win doesn’t mean am the best I just found my way quickly around the course that is why I won. so I won’t say my opponents are not good, they are very good and they make me feel proud.

The Cinderella open came off at the safari eco resort.

We are going to strengthen our relationship with the Ghana Gulf Association, we are going to also strengthen our relationship with the PGA. And as again the president of the PGA mentioned, when we have tournament outside this country where the short game is important, please come and play here so that when you go, you go and showcase us In a very bright way.

Vincent Torgah, the winner was awarded a cash prize of seventeen thousand Ghana cedis and an enviable bragging right as the defending champion. He was closely followed by an experienced golfer, Emos Korblah from the Achimota Gulf club who returned with a total score of two hundred and thirty-three and took home a cash prize of ten thousand Ghana Cedis.

Finishing third was a young Golfer, Augustine Manasseh who returned with a total score of 234 and took home cash prize of eight thousand Ghana Cedis.

Torgah produced sensational golf to emerge the winner of the biggest golf event in the country.
