The Academic Affairs Directorate of the University of Ghana has declared that students’ names sanctioned for examination malpractice will be published.
This decision is based on Regulation 7.16(d) of the University of Ghana Regulations for Junior Members, 2017. According to the regulation,
“The Vice-Chancellor shall have the power to order that any sanction imposed by the Board be recorded on the student’s academic record and transcript. The decision of the Vice-Chancellor shall be reported by the University in the University bulletin and, where appropriate, in the national media.”
This directive will take effect from the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year examinations.
The Directorate urged students to adhere to the regulations governing the University of Ghana examinations.
