University of Ghana Corporate Football League will be the game changer- Sports Minister Kofi Adams

Sports and Recreation Minister Kofi Adams believes the University of Ghana Corporate Football League will bring positive change by uniting corporate Ghana, encouraging competition, promoting physical fitness, and meeting the recreational goals of his ministry.

At the launch and balloting of the University of Ghana Corporate Football League on February 18, Kofi Adams praised the University of Ghana’s Sports and Wellness Directorate for creating a unique opportunity for the sports and corporate sectors to converge and interact.

“The Corporate games will be a game changer since it will bring corporate Ghana together to not only compete but to prioritizes fitness and that’s fulfil the recreational aspect of the ministry to fulfil the vision of president John Dramani Mahama.”

“This event is a good one because it will bring sports and the corporate world together because we need their contribution to be able to develop our sports and take it to the top. I commend the Sports and Wellness Directorate at the University of Ghana and I believe that this league will set the standard for corporate sports in the country.”- he concluded.

The official launch and balloting ceremony took place earlier today at the VIP Lounge of the UG Sports Stadium. The event saw the unveiling of the tournament structure, match fixtures, and team placements.

Will Union Ghana retain their dominance, or will a new champion emerge? The battle for the title begins this Friday, February 21, at the UG Sports Stadium.
