Students of the University of Media, Arts and Communication’s Institute of Journalism (UniMAC-IJ) have commended the SRC President for organising what many described as one of the most exciting Artistes Nights in recent SRC Week celebrations.
‎
The event, held on, June 12th and 13th, 2026, at the UniMAC South Legon Campus, drew a large crowd of students and showcased performances from various artists, including Reggae Dancehall star Stonebwoy, who brought an energetic and entertaining vibe to the campus.
‎
‎Speaking to Univers Entertainment, some students who attended the event shared their experiences and praised the organisers for a successful programme.
‎
‎”So I really enjoyed the SRC Week celebration. The President did a great job because, honestly, I didn’t think Stonebwoy would come. When he eventually showed up, I was very happy and excited. I really enjoyed the event,” one student said.
‎
‎Another student also congratulated the SRC President, Moses Desire Kouyo, and his team, describing the programme as well-executed.
‎
‎”I want to first of all congratulate the SRC President, Moses, for a good job done because honestly, this event was top-notch,” another student remarked.
‎
‎Students further applauded Stonebwoy for his energetic performance, which they said heightened the night’s excitement.
‎
‎”Stonebwoy’s energy was massive. I really enjoyed the performance,” a student added
