The University of Ghana Students’ Representative Council (UGSRC) has successfully facilitated the removal of restrictions on academic registration for students enrolled in the Student Medical Examination (SME) payment plan through the SRC.

In a statement issued on November 15, 2024, the SRC confirmed that the academic registration portal has been updated, allowing these students to proceed with their course registrations without further hindrance.

The statement also addressed students who have not yet applied for the SME payment plan. Such individuals are encouraged to submit their details via a designated link shared by the council. Similarly, students who made late payments of the SME fee and are still facing access issues are advised to complete the same form to resolve any problems.

For students experiencing continued challenges despite submitting their details, the SRC has urged them to reach out to Vice President Jeffery Adu-Yeboah for support.
