UGSRC begins processes to handover to new administration

The University of Ghana Students Representative Council has commenced processes to hand over power to the next administration.
In a letter released from the Office of the Vice President, Wisdom Ndukwe, it announced the formulation of a transition committee that will orient the new executives as well as ensure that the power is transferred swiftly.

The purpose of the transition team is to promote accountability and make available vital information that would prepare and better position the incoming administration to seamlessly take up the rein of management.

The letter also listed the members of the transition team.

As head of the transition team for the incumbent executives, this is to inform you that the following people have been choosen to form part of the transition team.

They are Daniel Obeng Asamoah, Aikins Opoku,  Nana Yaw Okyere, Comfort Abban, Dorcas Asantewaa Addo and Prince Agyenim Boateng

The letter tasked the incoming executives to also submit names of the representatives of the “incoming administration and their roles”.

You are advised to submit to my office, within 24 hours from the receipt of this letter, the names of the members of the team that would be representing the incoming administration and their roles.

In an interview with Univers News, the Vice President of the University of Ghana SRC, Wisdom Ndukwe said this transition would go down in history  as they’ve been no proper transfer of power over the last two years.

Its been long he had proper transition process and we believe this will be one of the best. This will give us opportunity to handover the necessary documents to the next administration. This is going to be a history making event.

The UGSRC President Prince Asumadu and his Vice, Wisdom Ndukwe , will hand over power to newly elected president Martin Boakye Gyasi and Abraham Lincoln while the General Secretary, Stephanie Naadu Antwi and the treasurer, Daniel Obeng Asamoah will hand over to Emmanuella Boakye and Michael Kuti respectively.
