Matchweek 6 in Group A of the University of Ghana Corporate Football League produced dominant displays, surprise results, and a major statement from the defending champions.
Lancaster University were the standout performers of the round, cruising to a commanding 4–0 victory over Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. Lancaster controlled the game from the first whistle, while GIMPA were largely on the back foot, forced into defending for most of the encounter.
In a tightly contested fixture, Bui Power Authority and GOIL PLC played out a 1–1 draw, with both sides sharing the spoils in an evenly balanced game.
Ghana Football Association continued their impressive run with a 2–0 win over Ghana National Petroleum Corporation. The star of the show was Ishmael Dede, who delivered a standout performance by scoring and providing an assist to seal the victory.
One of the biggest surprises of the round came as University of Ghana were held to a goalless draw by Ghana Armed Forces Officers Sports Club, a result few would have predicted given UG’s recent form.
Defending champions Ghana Civil Aviation Authority made a strong statement with a 4–0 demolition of Stanbic Bank Ghana. GCAA were dominant throughout and their emphatic win sees them return to the top of the Group A standings.
