UG-TEIN secures historic victory in Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency

The Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) of the University of Ghana has celebrated a significant milestone which marks a decisive victory in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency for the first time in 24 years. This achievement accomplished during the 2023/2024 leadership of UG-TEIN, stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication and collective efforts of its members.

In a heartfelt statement released on 12th September 2024, UG-TEIN executives expressed profound gratitude to their members for their unflinching support throughout the journey. The executives acknowledged that their success was driven by trust in God, perseverance, and a shared vision for progress.

“This journey has been marked by numerous challenges, but we persevered, drawing inspiration from our collective vision for a better Ghana,” the statement reads.

The leadership also highlighted their remarkable accomplishment of winning all polling stations on campus which according to them is an unprecedented feat in the constituency’s political history.

 

The statement concluded with heartfelt gratitude to former President John Mahama and Hon. John Setor Dumelo for their decisive support while recognizing their invaluable contributions to the victory.
