UG revises traditional hall fees for 2024/2025 academic year

The University of Ghana has announced an adjustment to the Residential Facility User Fees (RFUF) for traditional halls of residence for the 2024/2025 academic year.

According to a statement from the Public Affairs Directorate, the RFUF has been set at GHS 3,000 per student following approval by the University Council.

The adjustment is aimed at addressing rising electricity costs and ensuring proper maintenance of residential facilities to provide students with optimal services and a conducive living environment.

Payment Breakdown:

– Level 100 Students: The fee for the entire academic year is GHS 3,000.

– Continuing Students: A top-up of GHS 1,500 is required for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

The university has urged all students to comply with the new fees to facilitate the smooth running of traditional halls and enhance living standards for residents.
