The National Service Secretariat has announced that it will be organizing an orientation programme for all final year undergraduates. The programme is aimed at introducing the National Service Scheme to students and answering any National Service-related concerns.

According to a statement released by the National Service Secretariat, the orientation programme will take place on May 19th, 2023. Final year undergraduates on the Main Legon Campus are expected to attend the programme at the Great Hall at 4:00 P.M. On the same day, final year undergraduates at the Accra City Campus are expected to attend the programme at the New Block (Shrine) at 10:00 A.M.

The programme is a crucial step in the National Service process, as it provides final year undergraduates with an opportunity to learn more about the Scheme and to ask any questions they might have. The National Service Secretariat has urged all final year undergraduates to attend the orientation programme, as it will be a valuable experience for them.

The National Service Scheme was established by the Ghanaian government in 1973, and has since become an important part of the country’s national development agenda. It is a one-year mandatory service that all Ghanaian citizens who have completed tertiary education are required to undertake.
