The upcoming election follow a recent ruling by the University of Ghana Appeals Board, which overturned the disqualification of candidates Emmanuel Owusu Amponsah and Maradona Adjei Yeboah. Both had been previously disqualified by the UGSRC electoral commission due to eligibility issues, but the Appeals Board’s decision has reinstated them in the race.

With each candidate bringing a unique vision to the table, the competition is expected to be intense, as students prepare to select their next leaders who will steer the direction of the SRC in the upcoming academic year.

Voting for the SRC elections will be conducted electronically. The election link will be shared through the official student emails. In preparation, students are encouraged to ensure their university email accounts are activated to access the link on election day.
