The University of Ghana has successfully progressed to the grand finale of the Tertiary Business Sense Challenge 6.0, set to take place on October 19, 2024, at the TV3 studios.
This achievement follows a decisive victory over SD Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies in the semi-finals, where the University of Ghana scored 73.17 points compared to SD Dombo’s 41.67 points.
Joining the University of Ghana in the grand finale is Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), which secured a win with a score of 75.5 points against the University of Cape Coast, which garnered 62.5 points.
Defending champions University of Education, Winneba (UEW), are also making a return to the grand finale after defeating the University of Development Studies (UDS) with a substantial margin, scoring 60.5 points against UDS’s 28.16.
With these opponents in the contest, the University of Ghana remains poised and optimistic about claiming the championship title from the reigning champions, UEW.
The Tertiary Business Sense Challenge aims to promote academic excellence among business students while fostering networking opportunities between lecturers and students. This challenge is organized by Graphic Business in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG).
