At the lively University of Ghana graduation ceremony, parents filled the seats with anticipation permeating the air with joy over their kins’ graduation.
The Univers News team, equipped with microphones and cameras, engaged parents to document the joyous moments.
“I never thought this day would come so fast! It’s fulfilling to see my twins graduate together in this beautiful style!” exclaimed Mrs. Wiafe, a parent whose eyes gleamed with pride as she clutched her camera.
Approaching another parent, Mr. Ofori, who beamed with joy, Univers News captured his sentiments on his ward’s graduation.
“My daughter worked so hard for this. I’m bursting with pride today, and I’m happy the money I invested in her education didn’t go to waste.”
As the procession began, parents snapped photos and exchanged stories of their children’s academic journeys.
A mother, Mrs. Amina, wiped away tears of joy as she reminisced the long days of labor her daughter endured to bag a first-class honor.
“I remember the late-night study sessions and the sacrifices. This is the sweet fruit of hard work. My daughter really deserved her first-class honor. I’ll prepare Tuo Zaafi for her today; I know it’s her favorite!”
Amid the sea of graduation gowns and cheers, Univers News captured heartfelt moments of parents cheering on their accomplished sons and daughters.
“This is a dream come true,” exclaimed a parent. “I can’t believe my son is graduating from the University of Ghana today. It was always his dream university. He has really made me proud. I want to carry him on my back!”
In the jubilant atmosphere of the University of Ghana’s graduation ceremony, parents took a moment to express their heartfelt gratitude to the University for providing their wards the opportunity to obtain their degrees from the institution.
Univers News caught up with such proud parents who, in addition to celebrating their children’s achievements, wanted to acknowledge the university’s management, faculty, and staff for their pivotal roles in the success of the graduating class.
“We are grateful to the university’s management for providing an environment that nurtured our children’s growth.”
“Big thanks to the dedicated faculty and staff who went above and beyond to support our kids.”
